Ursuline Convent Sr.Sec.School organized Fancy Dress Competition based on the theme “Indian Freedom Fighters” for the kids Grade Nursery - UKG on 13th August, 2024 The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend confidence in the students but also to make them learn about the fighters who sacrificed their lives for freedom by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of an audience. Students dressed up in their best of costume to represent the freedom fighters of India such as Gandhiji, Nehruji, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Laxmibai and many other national leaders who are the true inspiration for all of us. This prestigious event saw participation from 15 renowned schools across the region, providing a platform for young minds to showcase their skills in various commerce-related competitions. Our students from Classes XI and XII demonstrated exceptional knowledge, creativity, and dedication, competing fiercely in a range of challenging events. Their hard work and determination were rewarded as Divy and Karan proudly secured the Second Position in one of the key events, bringing honor to our school. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the other participants: Abhinav Pillai, Devansh, Kartavya, Yash Rawal, Swarba, Raj, Omm, and Joshua. Their performances were commendable, earning them appreciation certificates for their efforts. The assembly held on Wednesday, August 7th 2024, at Ursuline convent School, Greater Noida The students of class VII- S presented a school morning assembly of the topic preparation is 'Meri maati mera desh' on Wednesday,7th August 2024.The highlight of this assembly was the enthusiastic participation of new students. They shared their views with great zeal and excitement. The school reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm .The school choir enthralled the audience with rendition of a prayer .The students presented a Nukkad naatak emphasized the significance of day.Children recited a poem on patriotic with great enthusiasm and pride. "Meri Mati Mera Desh" is a sentiment that embodies the connection between land and nation. It can also be seen as a program that celebrates India's soil and valor, and honors the country's heroes. The program aims to inspire national pride and future generations to protect the country. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem which was sung with pride. It was indeed an amalgamation of fun and knowledge. The dedication and enthusiasm of the participants made the assembly a success  |
