Today's assembly was presented by the students of class 7R. The topic of this assembly was the Mukti Foundation. During the assembly, the students explained when and by whom this NGO, Mukti Foundation, was established. They highlighted some incidents from the childhood of the foundation's founder, Shankar Haldar, and discussed the difficulties he faced in his life. They showed how he overcame these difficulties through education in the form of a play. The students also wrote and recited a poem based on this theme.  |

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self" Keeping it in mind Yoga competition was organized for KG students on 29th July 2024. There was a spectacular and beautiful display of talent, confidence, strength and flexibility by the yoga performers. This competition endeavored to provide a platform to the students to exercise their yoga skills. Each student represented their asanas with proper postures, expressions and gestures. It was an enlightening experience.All students seemed enthusiastic.  |

Together we thrive : Jubilee Food Drive 03.08.2024, Greater Noida: In a philanthropic initiative to mark their silver jubilee, Ursuline Convent School organized a food drive at Labour Chowk on 03rd August 2024. The drive was aimed at providing food to the daily-wage workers and their families by giving them necessary food items. The Students of Class X along with the supporting staff members came together to distribute bread and fresh fruits to the labourers, who gathered at the labour chowk in search of work. The school community displayed great enthusiasm and generosity for this charitable act. The Principal, [Rev.Sr.Rekha Punia], emphasized the importance of community service and expressed pride in the students' involvement.”As we celebrate 25 years of our institution, we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us. Our students have shown incredible empathy and kindness, and this food drive is just one way we can extend our gratitude," quoted the principal. The initiative was well-received by the labourers, who expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture. |

Silver roots for Golden Era |
Silver roots for Golden Era 1st August 2024,Greater Noida: In a sparkling celebration of their institution's silver jubilee, the teachers of Ursuline Convent school School organized a plantation drive in the campus yesterday. The plantation drive was inaugurated by the School Principal , Rev.Sr.Rekha , who emphasized the importance of creating a greener, healthier and happier environment for coming generations. The plantation drive was organised in the presence of School management along with RWA-sec 36 officials Mr.Surat Nagar, Mr.Sunil Pradhan, Mr.Sujit, Mr.Narender Gautam. The event, which took place yesterday, saw overwhelming participation from the entire staff. The Principal stated,”Just as these saplings will grow into strong trees, we hope our students will grow into responsible and conscientious individuals,". Teachers planted the Neem saplings in the school premises and neighboring area.The tree plantation drive symbolizes the institution's dedication to fostering a sustainable future.  |

Anand Kumar (Super-30) - The Famous Mathematician Educator |
Class XP presented a wonderful assembly on Anand Kumar, an exceptional mathematician behind the Super 30 program. Anand, born in 1973 in Patna, Bihar, faced financial struggles but excelled in math from a young age. Despite setbacks, he started the Ramanujan School of Mathematics with just two students in 1992. He later founded the Super 30 program in 2002, offering free JEE coaching to 30 underprivileged students annually. Anand's dedication led to the program's success and changed many lives. His story highlights the power of education and perseverance. Despite challenges, he never gave up and continued to support students in need. Anand's journey serves as a reminder of the importance of believing in individual potential and working towards a more equitable society. Let's draw inspiration from Anand Kumar and strive to make a positive impact, no matter how small.  |

Heartiest Congratulations🙌🏻 to Aaryaman Sharma (Class 9th R) and Rudransh Sharma (Class 4th P) who participated in a swimming competition held at JP Sports Club. Aaryaman Sharma secured the 1st position in the 50-meter under-14 backstroke category and the third position in the 50-meter under-14 breaststroke category.
