Reading through books is not the only medium of learning but fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process. Keeping this in mind Hindi Recitation Competition was organized for the students of Pre-Primary Classes. Such activities help the child to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also help the students to get rid of stage fear. Props used by them enhanced their presentation. Overall it was a very enriching experience for the spectators and an enjoyable experience for the participants. |

Focus is the art of knowing what to ignore ". An interesting session with the theme "Art of focus" was organised in Ursuline Convent Sr. Sec. School on 22-08-2022. Students of classes 7th to 9th were excited and pleased to be part of this beautiful session. The session was conducted by Sisters of Prajapita Brahma Kumari's Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. . This charismatic session was based on how to regain our abilities to focus on our accomplishments. Sisters also briefed the students, the tips on how to utilise their time from their busy schedules and to ponder and realize the true meaning of life and its elements. The five essential tips on how to focus and act as per the situations of life was the main highlight of the session. It was indeed an inspirational and cherishing experience for each one of us and we wholeheartedly thank Principal Sr. Rekha for organising such a wonderful session for us. We will enrich this session throughout the years of experiential learning with the aim- " Starve your distractions, Feed your focus  |

| Felicitation Ceremony |
Today on 23rd May 2022 we had the felicitation ceremony for our Rev. Sr. Celine Mathew in honour of her as she is elevated as the provincial superior of the Nirmala province of the UMI's and the president of the Nirmala education society. This felicitation program was organised by Mrs Shalini Saxena, Mrs Poonam Verma and Mrs Deepika. The ceremony was started with the lighting of the lamp by our Rev. Sr. Celine. Then we had a very graceful performance by our prayer dance students. After that our music choir gave a sweet and warm welcome to our beloved Sr. Celine. It was a very kind and hard warming welcome. Then our students presented a short and sweet enactment representing the journey of our alma mater. They showed us a glimpse of the past glory of our institution. They showed how are school has reached to its Pinnacle from the Rock bottom in a very heart touching way. They enacted the journey and struggles of various sisters and how they have tackled the difficult situations like Covid-19 pandemic and started the online education for the students of our school. With her determination and hard work our Principal Rev. Sr. Rekha managed to save 2 precious years of the student specially the board classes. After that we invited Rev. Sr. Celine up on the stage and presented a small token of love to her. Then Sr.Celine inspired us with her words of wisdom. Rev. Sr. Thelma our Manager also presented a bouquet of love to our beloved Sr.Celine. Then the ceremony was concluded by the incisive words of our Principal Rev. Sr. Rekha. Later the sweets were distributed among the students as a sweet remembrance of Sr. Celine felicitation. |

All the three segments were well explained through slides and personal interaction with girls. Girls enjoyed throughout the session and also showed interest to share their views on the same. Session was conducted by Mrs. Reena Srivastava and Mrs. Jayanthi Michael. It was a mesmerizing session and it ended up with lot of fun and was also a platform for girls to clear all their queries that they face during their growing phase. |
