Swaminathan Today, on 8 August 2024, Ursuline School students of class 4R presented an assembly on Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, where they shared details about his entire life, from his birth onwards. Dr. M.S. Swaminathan is the "Father of the Green Revolution in India." His work in developing high-yielding crops helped India become self-sufficient in food. Born on August 7, 1925, in Tamil Nadu, he received many awards for his contributions to agriculture and farmer welfare. Let's be inspired by his dedication to making the world a better place.
