Education is not all about studying and getting good marks. It is really a means to discover new things which we don’t know about and increase our knowledge. Education empowers minds that will conceive good thoughts and ideas. Education is the key to eliminating gender inequality, to reduce poverty, to create a sustainable planet, to preventing needless ignorance and darkness of the minds and to fostering peace and unity. Knowledge is an investment, and one of the most critical investment we can make. Of course, we can say that through education, a country's transformation from poverty to prosperity takes place. A person becomes perfect with education as he or she not only gains something from it, but also becomes capable to contributing to the growth of a nation. I can’t imagine a better world without a global commitment to providing better education to students and our goal at Ursuline school is to reinvigorate our efforts to accelerate progress in improving access, quality and student achievement world wide.
